Play of the Day: Clinton is a Better New York Panderer Than Kasich

Maybe it's sincere and maybe it's not, but Clinton seems to know what she's doing.

Donald Trump made a minor mistake in a speech this week, referring to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as 7-11 (instead of the usual 9-11) at a rally in Buffalo. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah questioned Trump's claim that the day is close to his heart. After all, victims of the 1941 Japanese attack on an American naval base don't remember the attacks of PearlVision and those in the 18th century didn't know think about the Boston Market Massacre.

The New York primary was held Tuesday and candidates were all over the Big Apple pandering to voters. The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore noted John Kasich's gaffe at the matzoh bakery, then pivoted to Hillary Clinton's impressive showing in the pandering department. Clinton played dominoes with African-American men and Wilmore noted how well she fit in, then joked about her motorcade rolling out on hydraulics. He also highlighted her claim that she keeps hot sauce in her bag – a phrase mainstreamed by Beyoncé's "Formation" – tying the news to the Benghazi attacks and to her email scandal.
