The candidate said it was symbolism, but it was probably just one dinosaur seeing another.
Ivanka Trump gave birth over the weekend to her third child and named the boy Theodore James. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about Donald Trump's relationship to his newest grandchild, since he's yet to learn English. Jimmy Kimmel joked about his name, noting that Theodore -- commonly nicknamed "Ted" -- could've been worse.
On Friday, a bird landed on Bernie Sanders' podium while he was giving a speech in Oregon. Sanders joked that it was a symbol, but Fallon noted that birds are actually modern dinosaurs and Sanders is an ancient one. The Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that this wasn't a surprising occurrence, considering birds love old men who look like they have bread in their pockets, while Fallon's video team also showed what Trump's relationships with birds is like.
