Candidate merchandise shops can be a good revenue stream for presidential runs, but they often include silly items. The Late Show's Stephen Colbert looked at a few of these items for sale Wednesday night, joking about Rand Paul, Hillary Clinton and Thomas Jefferson along the way.
Last week, Donald Trump came out and criticized rival Jeb Bush for speaking Spanish on the campaign trail, which Seth Meyers examined in a Late Night segment Wednesday night. In it, Meyers also examined comments from Play of the Day favorite Sarah Palin. The former governor of Alaska, apparently, speaks a different language than the rest of us because she wants Bush to "speak American."
