Play of the Day: Fixing Rand Paul's Campaign

His videos and his slogan need a lot of work.

The National Basketball Association announced this week that it is putting on a four-day clinic in Cuba later this month. This marks the first American professional sports league to officially work with the nation since President Barack Obama announced the changes in Cuba policy in 2014. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon is skeptical, considering some of Major League Baseball's biggest stars are Cuban. In related news, a new poll indicates that Obama is more popular on the island than Cuban leaders Fidel and Raúl Castro. Late Night's Seth Meyers noted that this news is not a surprise, considering the things some Cubans are willing to do to get away from the Castros.

Late-night hosts are still working on Rand Paul's Monday 2016 announcement. Meyers joked about Paul releasing a comic book to coincide with his campaign, while Fallon looked at the series of policy videos Paul released this week. The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore seized on Paul's aggressive campaign slogan, suggesting some more violent ones.
