American Sniper is not just a critical and financial success, the film is also controversial for its portrayal of the war in Iraq and the film's subject Chris Kyle. The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore, however, is here to clear one thing up about the war itself: just how bad it was.

Rep. Steve King held his Iowa Freedom Summit recently and the event brought 2016 GOP contenders to the Hawkeye State. According to The Daily Show, Rick Perry acted a bit like Yosemite Sam while Ted Cruz emulated an entirely different cartoon character. But the highlight of the event was Sarah Palin's teleprompter breaking, causing Jon Stewart to describe her overall coherence unfavorably.
