The controversy surrounding Iran’s new jet grabbed focus away from Valentine’s Day for Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O’Brien Thursday night, with O’Brien referencing the Denzel Washington film Flight in his joke. Over on Comedy Central, Stephen Colbert commented on the prosecution of banks five years after the fiscal meltdown of 2008. Daily Show correspondent John Oliver landed  a sit-down interview with Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Oliver tried to bridge the gap between the United States and the Muslim world and it went about as well as you could imagine.
