Report: IG has referred GSA scandal to Justice Department

Brian Miller, the General Services Administration's inspector general, has referred aspects of the expanding scandal over GSA’s wasteful conference spending to the Justice Department for possible criminal charges, Federal Times reports in an exclusive. The publication cited a congressional source familiar with the investigation.
A Justice Department spokeswoman reached by Government Executive declined to comment.
