TSA report: Lawmaker erupted in flap over airport screening

An incident report released by the Transportation Security Administration said Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, lost his temper and used profanity when passenger screeners at the Salt Lake International Airport insisted he go through a body-imaging scanner, the Salt Lake Tribune reported Thursday.
"Do you know who I am?" Chaffetz asked a TSA supervisor in the Sept. 21 incident after he was patted down for refusing to enter the imaging machine, according to the report.
"I'm Congressman Chaffetz and I'm the one trying to get rid of that s---," the freshman said, pointing to the machine.
Chaffetz is the sponsor of legislation to ban the devices that show an image of a person through their clothes, arguing that they violate personal privacy.
