Federal agencies in the Washington area remain open Friday, with the option for employees to take unscheduled leave and telework, according to the Office of Personnel Management. That is the same operating status government operated under on Thursday, when snow fell during the morning rush hour.
Additional light snow was forecast for Friday afternoon in the Washington area.
