I know that many of you already are fans of Scott Eblin, who provides his insights about leadership several times a week on the Executive Coach blog on GovExec.com.

Now Scott has just released a revised and expanded edition of his popular book, The Next Level: What Insiders Know About Executive Success. It's a terrific resource filled with practical insights based on Scott's extensive research and work with leaders in both the public and private sectors.

Scott will be talking about the book, and what he's learned in his years as an executive coach, at our Excellence in Government conference in Washington on Monday, where he'll be heading up a session called "Leading at the Next Level."

Tom Shoop is vice president and editor in chief at Government Executive Media Group, where he oversees both print and online editorial operations. He started as associate editor of Government Executive magazine in 1989; launched the company’s flagship website, GovExec.com, in 1996; and was named editor in chief in 2007.
