Oh, and he added that a flu pandemic was right around the corner, too. Nothing like going out by forcing your boss to field questions about whether the next trip to Burger King signals certain doom. If there was any lingering uncertainty about whether it was the right time for Thompson to move on, he seems to have alleviated it nicely.
