Brownie Goes Back

Who knew that former FEMA Administrator and designated Hurricane Katrina scapegoat Michael Brown was now a radio talk show host? As of earlier this year, he's had a regular evening gig at KOA in Denver.

And as has become common in 21st century America, Brown's not running from his notoriety, he's embracing it. In fact, he's headed to New Orleans to broadcast his show live as the fifth anniversary of Katrina approaches. He says he's actually been back to the city several times since being run out of town as a result of shortcomings in the hurricane response effort. Not surprisingly, he's received a somewhat mixed reception from residents.
