Senate Budget Committee aide to take OMB post

Amy Call, deputy communications director for the Senate Budget Committee, will be leaving the committee after six years to join the Bush administration as the Office of Management and Budget's deputy associate director for communications.

Call has worked for Senate Budget Chairman Pete Domenici, R-N.M., in the press operation since 1995, and serves as editor of the committee's weekly Budget Bulletin, a roundup of budget news, factoids and analysis for the "informed budgeteer."

Call leaves the panel a week from Friday, and starts fielding calls from the budget press at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue the following Monday, June 11.
