THE YEAR IN REVIEW
Government Executive kicked off its 31st year in publishing with a look at managing in the new millennium. Over the course of the year, the magazine staff examined a wide variety of topics, including the glass ceiling in government, invasion of dot.coms into the government market, the importance of workforce planning, and the presidential transition. In all the stories, the magazine continued its tradition of covering the federal government in a way no other publication does: from a management perspective. Here's a look back at the year in Government Executive covers. Each cover is hyperlinked to a full table of contents for that month's issue, so be sure to browse through our online versions of the magazine.
