TOGO WEST SAILING THROUGH-Veterans Affairs Secretary-designate Togo West sailed through Senate committee questioning, on his way to being approved for VA's top spot (The Washington Post).

PENTAGON HACKER ATTACKS-The Defense Department's unclassified computer networks have been subject to hacker attacks over the last few weeks. Deputy Defense Secretary John Hamre said the attacks were unsuccessful (USA Today).

CAMPBELL REMEMBERED-The Office of Personnel Management is remembering former OPM Director Alan "Scotty" Campbell in a special 3 p.m. ceremony today at OPM headquarters in Washington (OPM news release).
