ARMY, AIR FORCE W-2'S CORRECTED-The Defense Finance and Accounting Service is mailing out new W-2 tax forms to 200,000 Army personnel and 200,000 Air Force personnel because of a software error. About 1,800 service members' W-2's showed incorrect amounts in the earned income block of the forms. DFAS is sending out 400,000 forms to make sure no one is missed. Most affected personnel would be lower ranked enlistees with families (DFAS Announcement).

CHAOS AT BTG-Technology reseller BTG is in turmoil as it sells a division to rival GTSI. (The Washington Post, Business section).

U.S. WON'T USE SAUDI BASES FOR ATTACKS-Defense Secretary William Cohen says the U.S. will not use air bases in Saudi Arabia for attacks against Iraq (The Washington Times).
