U.S. AGENTS RAID FORMER LAWMAKER'S BUSINESS-"Federal agents yesterday raided the Capitol Hill offices of a Washington-based health care center headed by former Maryland congressman and basketball star Tom McMillen" (The Washington Times).

LEPROSY CENTER WORKERS MAY GET PENSION BOOST-"To smooth the closing of a government leprosy center, a Louisiana lawmaker would boost the pension benefits of the center's longtime federal workers by 25 percent-a step that administration officials yesterday described as unprecedented (The Washington Post).

IN THE LOOP-"Undersecretary of State for Global Affairs Timothy E. Wirth is said to be leaving his job soon to head a foundation being set up by media and sports mogul Ted Turner to distribute Turner's $1 billion gift to the United Nation's" (The Washington Post).
