White House Web Upgrade
The White House has added a new section to its web site featuring commonly requested government services. The section links to twenty-five agencies that provide documents and information online.
Highlights include links to information about Social Security and Medicare benefits, employment opportunities, consumer protection, and buying federal property. The section also links to official documents that can be downloaded, including tax documents and college financial aid forms.
The new section is part of an administration effort to encourage citizens and agencies to interact electronically.
