Watergate: Marco Rubio’s Awkward Drink of Water In GIF Form

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) got parched at an inopportune time while delivering the GOP’s State of the Union rebuttal. The popular senator appeared to grow increasingly uncomfortable as the speech went on, culminating in him finally reaching off camera for a tiny bottle of water.
Like all awkward moments in the digital age, his less than smooth grab for that bottle of Poland Spring exploded on Twitter--becoming instantly immortalized in GIF form. Rubio played along too, sending a Tweet that certainly redeemed himself.
