The Most Beautiful Video of Yosemite Ever Made

An intimate look at one of our nation's most beautiful parks.

Nothing beats the escapism of watching a gorgeous nature video in full-screen HD. The latest episode of Yosemite Nature Notes hits the spot; 30 photographers tell the story of a day in the life of the park from different perspectives on June 26, 2012. There's a park ranger and his horse named Clint. There's a hiker who has traveled hundreds of miles along the Pacific Crest Trail, stopping to pick up a package at the Tuolumne Meadows post office.

Best of all, a team of expert hang gliders with helmet cams take to the air, soaring over valleys (accompanied by the obligatory dubstep soundtrack). The series is directed by a former park ranger, Steve Bumgardner, aka Yosemite Steve , who discussed the making of the series in an interview with the Atlantic Video channel here . Don't miss this earlier episode , in which astronomers and photographers capture the night skies over the park.
