The data revolution is here. Government agencies are producing and managing more data from more sources, and increasingly relying on data generated at the edge to turn insight into action faster than ever before. The backbone of artificial intelligence, this edge data explosion has far reaching implications for government operations, services, and missions. During this digital experience, WWT dove into the implications of emerging technologies for artificial intelligence initiatives in government - from the high volume of edge data generated by the Internet of Things, to the edge processing power of 5G technologies. We explored what’s possible with today’s technologies, what will be accelerated with 5G, and how your agency can prepare for this evolution.
