Multicloud Is The New Frontier Of Government IT

In March 2022, VMware commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate how government bodies in the US and Canada are scaling their use of multicloud environments and what strategic moves are being made in tandem to protect and manage these changing cloud environments. Forrester conducted an online survey with 501 government agency leaders and IT decision-makers (ITDMs) involved in decision-making for cloud strategies, processes, or solutions to explore this topic. We found that, while the move to multicloud seems to be inevitable, government agencies across both the US and Canada must reckon with compliance standards, data security challenges, and changes in visibility across their growing cloud environments.
