2003 Travel Managers of the Year Awards

Each year, Government Executive shines a spotlight on the Travel Managers of the Year, focusing on the best players in federal government travel and relocation programs.

Awards go to federal agencies, installations or facilities that have successfully reinvented their travel or relocation programs, with measurable results in areas such as reducing costs, increasing accuracy and productivity, and improving morale. Judges consider nominations in any of the following categories:

  • Relocation
  • Paperless travel management
  • Excellence in travel acquisition or administration
  • Innovation with private sector partners
  • Technology
To nominate a program go to http://www.govexec.com/travel/award. We will begin accepting entries in December, and the deadline is Feb. 28, 2003. Winners will be feted at a ceremony in Washington next summer, and their stories will appear in next year's travel supplement.
