ABOUT THE EVENT

Technology drives success and solves problems every day. For the public sector workforce, this affects everything from gathering intelligence to protecting and defending, while providing excellent customer service to citizens. As agencies take steps to modernize the tools they’re using to achieve mission success, how are they channeling technology to get the outcomes they need?

During this special event, public and private sector experts discussed and demonstrated how Internet of Things (IoT) technology can enable your organization’s mission goals. From asset tracking to gathering data that will guide decision-making to storing information securely in a multicloud environment, exploring use cases and best practices to increase mobility, productivity and outcomes.

DEMOS

IoT Data Demo

Presented by Elastic

Come join Elastic experts to discuss collection, storage, and analysis of IoT data. We'll be running a demo that simulates an operations center running distributed WiFi infrastructure. We'll also discuss analytic methods that can be applied to IoT data, from full-text searches for unusual terms to geospatial exploration of network issues.

Mobile Field Kit Demo

Presented by WWT

The Mobile Field Kit (MFK) is an innovative IoT platform that provides teams with real-time visualization and mapping of CBRN threats, personnel location and health, and other sensor data. MFK supports 50+ sensors including CBRN, through-wall imaging, physiological, weather sensors, and motion sensors. MFK is optimized for use on disadvantaged networks within operational footprints. MFK significantly increases shared situational awareness and the ability to respond in a coordinated manner as events develop. Discover the full capabilities and stop by the World Wide Technology exhibit and learn more from our technology experts.

Lockdown Alarm Demo

Presented by EAS

Emergency Alert Solutions Group has created a notification system that is intended to be used in crisis situations such as an “active shooter” incident.  The concept behind the Lockdown ALM™ was the outcome of many years of research, on violent events, by law enforcement officers. Emergency Alert Solutions Group has created a solution that allows for immediate notification to the facilities occupants, direct contact to law enforcement, and timely notification to key stakeholders.

Privoro SafeCase Demo

Presented by Privoro

Privoro SafeCase™ utilizes a first-of-its-kind smartphone exocomputer that actively jams microphones and blocks cameras. By working around the mobile device instead of within its insecure ecosystem, the SafeCase is isolated from the exploits plaguing smartphones. We will also demonstrate SafeCase’s Mobile Device Manager integration for policy compliance management and encrypted Blue Force Tracking.

Crisis and Resource Management Demo

Presented by Patrocinium

Patrocinium will be doing live demos of their 3D next-generation crisis and resource management platform. The Patrocinium platform enables real-time 3D visualization of employees and the public within buildings or any geofenced location during emergencies and enables instant, multi-modal communications with groups or individuals via their own mobile phones.

Smart City Demo

Presented by Fybr

As an end-to-end industrial IoT solution, Fybr’s low power, low data rate network can deliver reliable, accurate data to sense and control critical systems in even the harshest environments – providing actionable data to save time, money and resources. Fybr's Smart City Platform helps communities operate more efficiently, reduce operating costs, and improve the quality of life. Our turnkey solution collects more information—more efficiently—providing communities with the best and fastest opportunity to create a return on investment. Focusing on parking, transportation, lighting, and water/environmental monitoring, our end-to-end IoT solution gives you the tools necessary to help your community grow while delivering a rapid ROI.

Facial Recognition Demo

Presented by redlyst

Modern security platforms must include the use of configurable facial recognition technologies. redlyst facial recognition security platform is a force multiplying impact for security teams. redlyst identifies threatening persons of interest with state-of-the-art facial recognition and private person of interest databases. redlyst notifies appropriate parties (including mass alerts) of the person of interest’s location/presence and coordinates team responses to the existing threat. A demo of redlyst’s patent-pending integrated security platform will show how quick and easy it is to deploy redlyst: 1) Create a person of interest, 2) Deploy a camera network (IP Camera or Mobile phone), 3) Use redlyst’s facial recognition technology, 4) Identify and validate a person of interest, 5) Update your security team, 6) Immediately respond

LoRaWAN Demo

Presented by Cisco

Get long-distance wireless connectivity for battery-powered IoT devices. Cisco's LoRaWAN-compliant solution connects IoT endpoints across cities or rural areas, at low cost and with low power consumption.

Intel/WWT FPGA Demo

Presented by Intel

In 2019, World Wide Technology and Intel joined forces to unveil the new Intel/WWT FPGA “Center of Excellence”, a resource to help customers accelerate enterprise workloads with a new, simpler generation of Intel FPGA Programmable Acceleration Cards (PACs). Currently, WWT is running seven FPGA solutions in their Advanced Technology Center – this is the only place today where you can get hands on demonstration of these solutions. These solutions are Levyx, CTAccel, MEGH, rENIAC, Falcon Computing, napatach, Swarm64, and will be demonstrated virtually through their ATC Portal.

Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative app

Presented by Coolfire Solutions

The Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative (NSI) app provides safety and community updates for residents, businesses, and visitors of the greater Central West End area. Using interactive maps, users can see safety incidents and community events in real time.

Residents, local business owners, and visitors can request non-emergency assistance, such as vehicle escorts or a security check on a home or business. When using the app, receive notifications about suspicious activities and crime in the area. Access to 911 is also readily available in the app for emergencies.
