CREW's Donald K. Sherman joins the podcast to discussion the current state of oversight and conflicts of interest.
Late last week, President Donald Trump signaled his intent to remove State Inspector General Michael Linick by sending a letter to Nancy Pelosi. Since then, the president has said that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recommended the removal and Pompeo himself has defended the move. Donald K. Sherman is Deputy Director of the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. He joined the show to discuss the conflicts of interest in the Linick move and other oversight problems during the Trump era.
