From Nextgov.com: OMB requires agencies to submit FISMA reports via online tool
All agencies must submit compliance reports with federal information security requirements using an automated tool that sends the data to the Office of Management and Budget via the Internet, according to an OMB memo sent on Thursday to agency heads.
COMMENTS
- Interesting how this report probably has no input from those in the government and DHS wrestling with the whole issue of cyber security. A fundamental flaw and once that should be corrected. Probably need [given the vast expenditures on IT] a new IT and Cyber Security Department and then just move the the Dept of Ags corporate farming interests to the Dept. of Commerce, and the Forest Service to the Dept of Interior and viola no need for the current version of the Dept of Ag. Also of course food saftey would go to FDA! Hey I can dream can't I? William R. Cumming Posted August 25, 2009 10:23 AM
