- Apples and oranges, Bob. In the cases of the first gulf war and Georgia, we promised armed protection. In this case, all we would be providing is Internet access. Information is great non-violent weapon. Jay Dee Are Posted June 17, 2009 2:33 PM
- I strongly disagree. Aside from monitoring the situation, we should refrain from any other action. Whatever we do would be taken as detrimental to the other side. Right after the first gulf war, we promised Iraq's minorities we would support them if they rebelled, we did not and they got slaughtered. We promised Georgia the same, we did not and they got slaughtered. This time, we just monitor events. Bob Ramos Posted June 17, 2009 9:13 AM
- Good idea. Don't let Iran become another Burma. Burmese also should get this access. Jay Dee Are Posted June 17, 2009 8:32 AM
