The TacCom procurement vehicle is the result of a joint Efficiency Review and Strategic Sourcing initiative within the Department of Homeland Security with the aim of modernizing the procurement process of mobile technologies.

TacCom works to leverage economies of scale to provide DHS employees access to a wide array of new and existing tactical communication technologies and services needed for the agency to deliver on mission efficiently and under budget.
