With many hosts coming back from the long weekend, late night was brimming with government and political jokes Tuesday evening. Jay Leno and Craig Ferguson went with easy digs at Congress, while Stephen Colbert came back from the short break with actual footage released by NASA, tying it to the Russian asteroid.
Similarly, with news that the White House press corps is upset over the lack of information on Barack Obama’s recent golf vacation with Tiger Woods, late-night comedians had a field day. The Tonight Show’s Jay Leno, Late Show host David Letterman and Colbert all had something to say about the trip.
Fast forward to 4:25 to see Colbert question the transparency of the Obama administration with great fervor.
