It is like comparing a hangnail to an amputation to say that the Gitmo terrorists received Nazi torture. The Nazi torture techniques included, skinning people alive, smashing out people's teeth, kicking them with boots until numerous bones were broken and organs ruptured, ripping skin from peoples backs with barbed wire, people while dismembering they were alive (including sex organs) to study their levels of pain and to see how long they would survive. I don't think we have done anything like this to our prisoners. Nor have we chopped off their heads or hands like the terrorists have done to their enemies (us included). You don't know what you are talking about to make such a comparison.

If the previous administartion had exercised justice by holding military tribunals to bring those to account for their terrorist deads instead of holding them off US soil to skirt the rule of law and to perform Nazi tortures on them, this would not be an issue at all. Another example of Bush running over at the mouth to stir up people and then not followign through. Whenever I read what this article says about having the options to try people in military tribunals or civil courts without some very very specific criteria, I thing our system of justice has been immeasurably weakened. Whether Dan or Ed like it or not, the Constitution lays out the criteria for the rule of law and justice.

No Federal Court for those in Gitmo. Military trials, executions if found guilty, and feed their remains to the sharks.
