Okay how about this take on the subject? Take IT security away from OMB-and A-130! Give it and programs, functions, and activities, and regulatory authority of DISA, FCC, NSA, and DHS and combine into a new federal communications and cyber department. This could be dual hatted if necessary. The bottom line is that the current ration of IT security spending and Cyber Security Spending is less than 5% of physical security spending for the communications and virtual world. This ratio should be reversed as quickly as possible over the next decade. There should be a break out in the federal budget (and separate code) for all IT and its security and for Cyber Security. The current system makes absolutely no sense.

It's very interesting that Senator Lieberman trusts the government to manage national cybersecurity but does not trust the government to participate in providing health care to citizens. Where does Senator Lieberman's trust really lie?

Talk about cognative dissoance. Just two weeks ago Senator Lieberman was going after the Obama administration about it having to many "czars." Now he wants to create another. This from the guy who help give us the monstrosity called "Homeland Security."
