"Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said the department's Bureau of Land Management is processing more than 30 applications for major transmission corridor rights-of-way. Seven of the applications are being fast-tracked to clear the permitting project by next year. Together the seven projects -- which are in Idaho, California and Nevada --would add more than 1,000 miles of transmission lines." OMG through Virgin Forests and un-touched previously untouched wilderness!! Destroying the natural nesting area of the Red Spotted whooping squirrel!! Where is the Outrage? Where are the "Greenies" calling for a lawsuit to stop such a Rape of our natural lands?? Ohh Yeah, umm this is being done by Demo's so it's OK... change we can live with...
