    They are worried because accountability leaves a lot to be desired. My home state (New York) is using stimulous money to make traffic signs for the Northway. What was wrong with the old signs????

    This is a case where the path that is taken to obtain the data is as important as the data itself. Said different, it is the journey that matters not the destination.

    First no one read it, second when tracking the funds is secondary and not in place at the time it is given out, and how to do it comes weeks after the bill is passed, what do you expect. Rather put the cart before the horse with no driver.
