I suspect that Congress will really like the results of these additional reporting requirements, additional visibility & transparency, etc. and that this will become the new norm for reporting after the Recovery Act is considered history. Workforce, workload and effectiveness issues aside - get ready - it's coming - you can count on it!

With all the reporting attached to this money, agencies are actually avoiding using this due to the additional workload, workload we can ill afford. Talk about defeating the purpose. And from reading the article above, management doesn't have a clue...
