Seems to me with all the same faces only in different places there is more of the same -whether of this Administration or the last bureaucracy. This would make a lovely and lifetime effort just applying lean management and organization principles to eliminate waste and encourage participative management.

This administration, to an alarming extent, has abandoned much of the Executive Branch to the Hill for its actual management. We can expect to continue to see a lack of direction, or to be more precise a multiplicity of directions and a lack of any real focus because of this. The average Hill staffer has never actually managed, much less led or been responsible for anything other than pleasing their do nothing egotistical Congressional bosses. They are the drones of an institution that has hit rock bottom in the area of respectability. This ill conceived cross fertilization will yield only the bitterest of fruit.
