Its called war for profit. Its all about the bottom line and not caring or supporting the employee whether its a soldier or a civilian contractor working for a corp that's contracted by the government. They separate themselves leaving the worker out in the cold much of the time. A civilian contractor does not have benefits much of the time nor retirement as do Soldiers in many cases. Its all about the money not the people. Get an injury and report it then they want to send you home. Then your on your own and have to get an attorney to fight them hence the 15% referred to in the article. Its all dollar driven. people trying to make a difference, work for a living and doing the job many WONT do getting shafted by the very people they are helping to protect. Its sad that many still only are looking out for themselves without thinking of the result of their actions.
