No one is saying the previous boss was incompetent. A change of leadership is sometimes needed and can succeed, without the previous one being useless or even wrong. Sometimes just need fresh approach, different focus, different expectations.
Look at the stupidity of the "stimulus" package. If you want to create construction jobs, then commit to building a southern fence over next two years, and mobilize the country to make it happen. When unemployment runs out, folks will be glad to work out of a trailer along southern border. This employs construction workers, steel fabricators, logistics folks, and all sorts of support jobs in food, port-a-potties and so on.

Go to the library, you know, the place with all the 'books'. READ Gibbons, and many other great writers. Understand that EVERY major civilization (or empire)that has fallen, has fallen because of loss of connective values: patriotism, family, religion, morals, politics, etc. We are now the Divided States of America, and either reverse course, or fail, and some other entity WILL take over. Read your history, it's happened for the last few thousand years! The next time you watch the History Channel, substitute US instead of Persia, Egypt, or Mesoamerica. Wake up, America, before it's too late.

Since 9-11-01 our organization has been involved in being a "watch dog" over Federal, State, and local government on issues of national security as it concerns immigration legal, and illegal, border security, and document security. What we have observed first hand is the all levels of government lack the political will to up hold their duties due to the powerful lobby groupes who fund thier campaigns and give them BIG jobs when the office or their government posts, like the United States Chamber of Commerce, foriegn governments, the travel industry, agro industry, building industry. This lobby groups are will funded and when they go to Washington and other government venues to talk about thier issues which put United States Citizen's security over corporate profit, they get their message heard and legislation passed over our voice. Citizen's must be more engaged with their elected officials and fund groups like ours so that your national security concerns,(human saftey) are addressed over coporate profit. 911/FSA.org

I'm waiting for all our valued CS to tell me again how well the system works. Can't do the job move them somewhere else that's a great way to address incompetence

Honestly, "fixing" this problem with the borders is relatively simple. The real issue is the lack of willpower to do so. Does Washington really believe the people are this stupid? The "W" blew this one big time...yet one more reason the country is so disgusted with our current state of affairs. Defending the homeland- and we can't even install a contiguous fence across the border states. Amazing.
