"Government spending on hotel rooms continues to be spread over a wide range of vendors. Marriott is the top vendor for 2007, having earned $175 million in federal sales but only 7.1 percent of the market share."
Marriott is a vendor made up of multiple Brands: Marriott, Renaissance, Courtyard, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, SpringHill Suites & Fairfield Inn.
It may be an idea for you to revisit your calculations by Vendor (to include all associated Brands) and not just one Brand.
Also, where can I find the grid that provides a breakdown by vendor spend and % share? This grid was made available in previous years.
Many thanks
