No respect for the law!!! Are you kidding me?? Deep conviction and integrity. I hope Bloch will be a man with a conviction and for to jail. I also hope people understand this man is your typical liar and thief who was owed a political appointment because Bush knew he would do his dirty work so no one would be able to file any type of whistle blowing paperwork that would get to the media. The sad part is that it worked until the Dems took over the congress and could prusue the complaints against Bloch. Do not forget... the FBI raided this mans house and office looking for the computers in question. I hope Bloch was level headed when he was given the search warrent!!

It is amazing how people can toss around words like "internal terrorism," "transgressions," "lies and deception" and the like. None of these accusations have one iota of factual basis. Neither does the accusation that his appointment was a political "favor." Simply untrue, period. Freedom of speech does not include the freedom to crucify an individual with innuendo and gossip. The only reason that these people do not like Bloch is because he is a man of deep conviction and integrity. If his detractors were intelectually honest in the least bit, they would have to admit this because it is evident. The only agenda Bloch serves is level-headed adherence to the rule of law. Most of his opponents despise the rule of law and want a de facto form of government where those who can grab the most power (through whatever means, including defamation and intimidation) make up the rules as they go along. Shame on you who have no respect for the law.

Scott Bloch is not a civil servant. He is a Bush political appointee. The kind of guy that makes it hard for civil servants to do their job.

Inspector General Pat Mcfarland has been conducting an investigation of Scott Bloch for three years. To date, criminal investigator McFarland has yet to identify one law that Bloch has broken. Perhaps Mcfarland is on the cusp of a major breakthrough.

Under people like Bloch and many other BUSH APPOINTED(not civil service) employees peoples lives have been ruined in order to promote lies and deception. The current FSD of Denver (Dave Bassett) and many other of TSA leadership cases need to be reopened to show the american people that lies and deception will not be tolerated. I find it ironic that the person who was incharge of over sight of investigating Whistle Blower cases may go to jail for wiping clear Govt. computers hard drives and firing Whistle Blowers. This may be the tip of the Ice Berg!!!

It seems that every Agency of this current administration employs some people in power willing and capable of carrying out injustices against certain individuals all apparently for political reasons, always seeking to make the playing field uneven. What makes this very scary is how apparently easy it is for someone in power to get others to do wrong in order to protect or carry out a particular political agenda. The OSC is suppose to be independent and objective in it,s ability to carry out it's duties but certain cases get interferences from within the system. This is obviously contrary to the rule of law and to the principals of Democracy. Any individual who interferes with one's right to have a fair accessment of their concerns should be held fully accountable.

Bloch is a special type of political appointee rather than a civil servant. He was appointed as a special interest political favor and lacks the high qualifications of past appointees like Kaplan. He arrived with a hidden agenda and has been actively undermining the agency's mission ever since. With Waxman weighing in, Bloch's management is nearly universally condemned. The TSA employee very reasonably asks if he and others received a fair shake when they turned to OSC. A review of these cases would certainly help restore the agency's failed credibility once Bloch leaves.

Terrorism?? I think not, abuse of power maybe. There is a lot of gray area into whether or not someone is a whistle blower or just another disgruntled employee. I'm surprised about how many articles are written on this topic and the reaction from the feds calling for his removal. Hey he just another civil servant and this is how the taxpayers feel about the civil service system and the usability to remove people. I would caution that you may get get what you wish for an easier removal process for all CS

If the charges against Mr. Bloch prove true ... these transgressions are internal terrorism against the US and need to be treated as such. Firing or quitting is not the answer. Until justice is served against transgressions of this nature ... they will continue.

I was a former employee with TSA and was let go due to Whistle Blowing. There was a three week investigation conducted by Bloch's office and he personally ensured the case did not go any further. I wonder when they finally get rid of Bloch if congressw will have OSC reopen many of the cases Bloch was involved with? I believe they need to open my case along with perhaps thousands of others.
