This doesn't surprise me, VA gets a $ budget and they choose to give the vets healthcare $ to the contractors, rather than provide the health care they deserve. The last 2 years the VA led all Cs operations is the size and dollars awarded as bonuses, this behaviour borders on criminal behaviour

There is also a problem in that VA doesn not bill Tricare since it considers it government to government. Thus when I go on Tricare in November, I will start receiving all my care more expensively from somewhere other than VA, since if they will not bill Tricare, my Supplemental Insurance that I plan to have will not pay.

This was ground breaking information that came to light. There has also been issues with proper information being given to patients in regards to TRICARE/ DOD and the VA..where the end resulted in a patient having to pay a bill over $7000.00 three years after receiving care. So thank you
