    I believe the amount spend on Pizza's are due to each Friday, my daughter's Jr High (in Katy,Texas) buys from a pizza chain and charges the kids 1.75 a slice. So it would seem the money being spend is coming back to the district in individual pizza slice sales.

    It is a fantastic beginning. While were at it, lets look into tax credits. The federal government spends money in the form of foregone income using tax credits. This form of spending is particularly opaque because it isn't listed as a budget line item. And, it isn't very efficient. Tax credits need serious scrutiny. Where are the investigative reporters?

    It seems like a relatively good idea to me, although I dislike most of what Norquist represents. Of course, it is also very complex, and he knows it. Terabytes of bankcard transactions combined with thousand-page contracts worth tens of billions of dollars each. The problem with usaspending is that I can't see detail below a rather large threshold.

    The Environmental Working Group has been publishing the payments made to farmers for 12 years or so. On balance it's a net addition to the policy debate. If John Doe Farmer can live with it, so can others.

    No because our CS all have the Walter E Newman philosophy "what me worry" there is always more money where that came from
