Thousands of veterans return home wounded and disabled to find the VA is ill suited to help them. The lack of universal care does not help where veterans live and work. This is a national disgrace that has been given insufficient public attention.
It is time to create a vast number of medical volunteers to help our wounded and disabled warriors neglected by our government similar to Remote Area Medical. Anyone out there who is the least bit interested, please respond.

I support any change that takes care of these guys and gals and it stops being a political football. This certainly a higher priority than SS

I am a Disabled Veteran and a Life Member of the DAV. I see no reason why Congress can not set up funding for the VA as they do Social Security, etc. We are just as important as the other fixed agencies. We signed a blank check with our Government and many of us are still using that check to help our Government. Congress must start seeing what worth we have been and will continue to be to our Country.
