Like it or not, sucking up the last drops of oil from under the last crabs and caribou might delay the inevitable by a couple of years, but would do NOTHING substantial to fix the problem. We need to stop using petroleum as a fuel source as soon as possible . . . not keep on keeping on as we have for the past 100 years. Yes, it's expensive developing truly DIFFERENT sources of energy, but the cost of NOT doing that would be too great even to contemplate.

Amen brother Rick. Democrats, and some Republicans will go down in History as the politicians in cahoots with radical environmentalists, speculators, and foreign oil barrons that killed America. And we thought it would be Russians with missiles.

Blah, Blah,Blah and as Americans continue to use more and more of their income to get to work and the kids to after school activities the House and Senate continue to tell them "Screw You" we're busy having a PMS moment and don't care. Want to know why your gas prices are so high...30 years of "no"....no new drilling, no new nuclear plants, no new refineries, no.. no.. no.. but wait, its the oil companies quest for greater profits. What is the motivation for business....oh right, its a pure form of philanthropy. Get real, until the American people wake up, this kind of bickering and disengenuousness will continue.
