A point to remember about any job is you do not have to love the people you work with but you have to be able to work with them.

Isn't it nice that an Acting GSA Administrator and a long time govt bureaucrat is getting along with the GSA OIG? He will get along with the GSA OIG or the Acting guy will get ousted like Doan. What did anyone expect with a GSA OIG that is biased, who essentially ousted the last woman Administrator that exposed corruption in the OIG office? There should be a clean sweep of the GSA OIG and his Deputy, he should go because a cloud still looms over his office for failing to investigate or cover up legitimate charges. The GSA OIG should resign.

There was always a healthy working relationship between the GSA OIG and the GSA Administrator regardless of their difference of opinion on certain issues. The relationship was based on the open door policy of each side on the issues to be heard. There will always be disagreements on the hard issues such as contract pricing, fraud, waste and abuse as well as statutory matters. The procedurs in place allow for resolution with out the confrontation created by former GSA Adminstrator Doan. \Now that she is gone and both sides can return to the heard and beheard policies and resolution procedures, the work of GSA can continue to serve the goverment in the professional manner that has been their trademark. Doan was a distraction that was not necessary and accomplished nothing but subversion of an already workable process that served the tax payers well. Good riddence to her!
