Ethical business practices have become a thing of the past for many of the contractors providing services and/or parts to the Government. Not only should salaries be made available but, G&A and some other aspects of costing practices utilized by contractors to hide monies they are not entitled to, but, furtively and underhandedly introduce as an integral part of contract services consisting of incorporeal costs having no value neither in material form or intrinsically. Furthermore, if this is just an example of Senate braggadocios speaking loudly, arrogantly and full of empty threats....then the time is well past to reelect lawmakers willing to uphold the law and hold contractor's liable no matter the consequences....to include loss of financial support at election time. Otherwise, if nothing comes of this, I plan on voting a lot differently at the polls at election time.

Yes Tom, it may be legal, and conservative big-corporation scumbags, along with whiny-liberal scumbags have the ability to protect their millions; as usual, it's the lucky-to-have-a-thousand-bucks-in-the-bank little guy that gets screwed.
I'm for a flat tax or consumption based tax.

If the objective of a contract is to get the best product or service at the best price and the highest quality - then I just don't see the point of this. It would be good to know that our representatives are spending their time - and our tax dollars - on improving procedures and operations of current laws rather than wasting their time - and our tax dollars - on information that is not relevant.

Hey taxpayer! Did you know that the kennedy's have a very large portion of their wealth of shore as well? While it is a sneaky way of minimizing your taxes, it currently is NOT illegal!

"contracts worth more than $25 million in any fiscal year" Great, like that's going to affect a lot of contractors. Certainly not KBR, which has subsidiaries in the Caymen Islands.
