Hopefully Congress will be back in hands of the Republican this fall and we can start to make progress on enforcing the law. Every day I read in the paper about some Senator or Congressman taking exception to a raid or deportation. We can't have laws and 535 judges in Congress seconding the DHS actions

I think they should let him build as much fence as DHS says we need to secure the border, lets get real the border is not secure, on either side... We need to secure it now, not next year not 5 years from now... but now...I have been on the border, without some fencing, unmanned drones for surveilence, it will never happen. If he wants to build 600 miles of fence, then let him... just lead follow, or get out of the way....

Arogance, intolerance and using the fear card are the trademark of DHS it's leader and administration

I'm sorry Mr. Chertoff, but I believe you should have prefaced you're final quote with "Once upon a time". It's not that I don't believe you, but you've spent an inordinate amount of time and effort doing everything in you're power to not curb Mr. Bush's rush into a North American Free Trade Zone, that stopping illegal immigration and depriving cheap labor to Georges friends does'nt play well in Peoria. As the man said "I think You protest to much".
