Ill defined and over sold was and is the problem. It would not matter if an LSI, SAIC, and all the industry players were involved or not.
It will be interesting to see what spin is placed on yet another large expenditure of development funds that fail to resulted in new hardware for the troops.

Kristo, I wasn't sure if your statement was actual lauds or laughter. Not meaning to critique but between the spelling of Irak, speaking of yourself in the 3rd person, and the comment on his name...
As a matter of fact: I'm not sure where you got that reference (something: Bretagne-France) and called it Briton. A quick check got me what seems a bit closer to the mark:
Petreus means ?et?e?? (ancient Greek) >p?t?a (both modern and ancient Greek) = stone.
*In Greece the name Petreus in no longer in use, but we say still Petros (which would mean stone if the word petra had a male equivalent, since it is a female word).
And this most common reference from the biblical, the greek "Petros", later became "Peter", of whom someone once said "Thou art Peter, and upon this 'rock' I will build ..." etc.
Just trying to understand your comment.

Thank you General Petraeus, you're doin' a great work in Irak. Kristo supports your 'initiatives' in Irak/IRAN; Please note General that your name is Briton (Bretagne- France). God bless you Sir. r)

The article was fine up to the last paragraph. Pike got that one exactly wrong. The LSI folks move in and out faster than day traders, but the government folks generally stick with the program for the long haul. Believe it or not, national defense means more than money to some folks.

FCS is nothing more than a white elephant. The promised goods from Boeing/SAIC will be at best 15% by 2015. The program needs to be seriously retooled.
