NTEUs actions in regards to TSA officers have been both arbitrary and confusing. NTEU isn't interested in supporting all TSA officers just the officer's at large airports so they can add to their paltry membership numbers. Everyone knows that AFGE was the only union to file a complaint against the Bush administration for violating international labor law -- a complaint upheld by the International Labor Organization. AFGE has been providing routine on the on the ground representation and support since the beginning of TSA. AFGE is the TSA union.

I beg to differ with statements by NTEU. We started our efforts at COS with NTEU interest and were told (plain and simple) that COS wasn't large enough for NTEU to bother with.... they were only interested in Denver in the CO area. Therefore the interest we showed, which consisted of signatures from 1/2 of the workforce, was completely ignored and representation of any kind was refused. So, your actions speak volumns regarding what you're really after..... representing the TSO's at a smaller airport wasn't even considered. Thanks NTEU but no thanks.....

What Union Lackey, and DOD fail to realize that if it was'nt for the Union they in all likeyhood would'nt have the time nor the luxury or the Govenment job that they have now. What really grind my gears about people like that? They are all mouth and no action and just like sitting around complaining about being the true zero's that they are.

The only thing worse than government management is government unions.

Getting the United Nations of Dictators and Thugs to say something negative about President Bush was not a very difficult task. The fact that AFGE went outside our National Boundries for a rubber stamp decision leaves a bad taste in my mouth about AFGE as a whole. The UN is the same body that would like to strip away constitutional rights we enjoy in this country and replace them with their concept of World Government. Yet, AFGE buddies up to them for political points. How sickening and stupid. Yes, I am a Union Member.
