Mr. Ketter: I don't usually indulge in "ad hominem" arguments, so let me remind you that EVERY federal employee is(to the best of my knowlege)an American citizen, and a taxpayer, just like you. We contributed monies to the antiquated Social Security socialist system, but are currently being penalized by the Windfall Elimination Provision, passed by the wonderful Republican party some years ago. We pay taxes, raise familes, retire, and eventually die, just like you. Seems like you have the typical insecure, no-collar attitude that civil servants belong to you. Wrong! Dole out your donuts at 7-11, or trade stocks, you have NO moral superiority here.

Wow, Mr. Ketter, don't hold back! Bet you think that millions of federal/state/county workers are YOUR employees, and YOU pay their salaries. Get over your arrogent, pro-business attitude in this forum, post elsewhere, please.

The difference is the private sector works for a living and have to watch the bottom line. In the public sector money is no object and the customer is immaterial
