Hi,
Very interesting comment, but I would add a 4th lesson: Verify When you implement an identity management solution, you ensure that the right "identities" access the right data. But in any case you can verify if behind your identity accessing your critical data, the right person is sitting. Because IAM is managing identities, but not human. In order to be sure of that, you have to verify. Identity management is a sort of "trust" service. But the "verify" phase is vital to ensure that nobody is breaking the rules and to verify any potential identity theft. And in order to do that you have to use another solutions than an IAM. It is something complementary and necessary.
